Quintess presents the AVANTI Azumit 60’ Yacht in BVI

Take in all of the beauty of the British Virgin Islands in this sleek Italian Azumit Yacht! You can take her with a full crew of chef and captain, captain only, or as a bareboat for a qualified charter. This is true Quintess luxury!

YACHT CHARTER OPTIONS:

One of the best ways to explore all the islands of the BVI is to have a Quintess yacht charter. Yacht charter options are bareboat, captained, or crewed (includes captain and chef) charters.

1. Bareboat charters

Quintess Bareboat yacht charters allow you the opportunity to be your own captain and take a yacht yourself to chart your own adventure around the BVI in speed, style and comfort. Once you reserve a week on this yacht, the host will send you a contract and a ‘sailing resume’ for you to complete.

Bareboat charters procedure

Once you arrive in the beautiful BVI Quintess will help coordinate your arrival at our base in Nanny Cay Marina. You can go to town to purchase provisions for your yacht, or you can order them in advance online and they will already be on board when you arrive. Our customer service specialist will help you complete your charter paperwork and then you are nearly ready to go! Our operations manager will walk you through all the systems onboard and provide you a full ‘check out’ to ensure you are completely comfortable with the yacht before you set out on your charter. Following this briefing, you are all set to head out on the water! Your yacht will have an iPad mini loaded with Navionics to make navigating stress and hassle-free even for guests who are chartering in the waters of the BVI for the first time.

While cruising around the BVI, there is no ‘set’ itinerary of any kind – where and when you go is completely up to you. You can choose to cruise to as many of the popular islands; Norman, Peter, Cooper, Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke as time will allow, or you can spend most of your time in only one or two places – since you are the captain on your bareboat charter you can do whatever you prefer. We do recommend that first time guests be sure to check out a few of the islands top spots including; The Baths, The Indians, The Willy-T, Cooper Island Beach Club, Wreck of the Rhone, Bitter End Yacht Club & Soggy Dollar Bar – just to name a few!

2. Crewed yacht charters

If you would love to experience all the beauty and fun of the BVI without any of the work, a Quintess luxury crewed charter offers the best of both worlds. Crewed charters allow you to travel around the islands of the BVI while experiencing the ultimate level of service and style. On a crewed yacht, a captain will be on board to command the yacht and help plan an itinerary personalized to your activities and travel style. A gourmet chef will prepare three meals a day for you on board that are all tailored around your tastes and preferences.

The yacht is complete with all amenities including luxury accommodations, satellite tv and movies, internet access, and watersports toys (optional and available at the marina for charter) such as paddle boards and snorkeling gear. The crew (if applicable) will move the yacht around all the islands in the BVI and often show guests ‘secret spots’ that are generally not seen by tourists or other charter guests. A luxury crewed charter is the ultimate way to enjoy the BVI in comfort and style!

THE YACHT:

The main deck has a long, curving sofa and table on the bridge deck opposite the helm, port and starboard seating down aft, and a sunpad over the tender garage. The result is plenty of comfortable space to sit, lounge, or lie down, and with glass all around and overhead, the views from the upper dinette are unsurpassed. It really feels like sitting outside—especially with the big roof panel slid back!

Venturing down below you’ll encounter a beautiful open space, with a starboard side galley offering plenty of practical stowage space space both at eye level and below the worktop, including a thoughtfully provided slot for the worktop infill panels that cover the cooktop and sink. On the port side is a large sofa lounge area perfect for relaxing after a day at sea.

Practicality remains the theme throughout. This is described as a “two-master” yacht, as it will be hard to choose between the amidships and forward cabins. The amidships stateroom offers a big, offset double berth under the cockpit sole and standing headroom on the port side, but the forward cabin runs a close second. Both have roomy en suite heads and as much practical stowage space as possible, both in the cabins and the heads. The third cabin, a twin on the starboard side between the midships master and the galley, offers two twin beds or the option to convert the beds to a double.

*Given the high-performance nature of this yacht and the extensive electrical systems unique to this vessel, a one-day checkout and pre-approval of sailing resume (which will be sent to you upon reserving a week) will be required of all guests. This check-out will occur on-route to the guests’ selected first-day destination, so will not impede the charter in any way. The rate for the captain on the first day is included in the listed price of the charter.
