Day 2

This morning depart early for a full day of wildlife viewing in Grand Teton National Park. Take in a beautiful sunrise over the Tetons and witness the prolific wildlife. Look for moose, bison, grizzly bears and more! Enjoy a packed lunch in the field before heading home. (Duration: 6-8 hrs)

Day 3

Today get out into the fresh air with a guided hike in the mountains surrounding Jackson Hole. The hike will be tailored to your desired activity level with naturalist interpretation by your guide along the way.

Day 4

Depart early this morning for a full day excursion to Yellowstone National Park. Look for wildlife en route, witness the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone with its impressive waterfalls, and explore geothermal features of Yellowstone including the famed Old Faithful. (Duration: 12 hrs)

Day 5

Today head into Bridger Teton National Forest for a guided kayaking excursion on Slide Lake. With views of the surrounding forest, the red rock of the Gros Ventre Range and the peaks of the Grand Tetons,
Slide Lake offers the perfect venue for learning to paddle. (Duration: 5hrs, ~2 hrs paddling)

Day 6

This morning embark on an early morning float by vintage, wooden drift boat on the Snake River. Keep an eye out for eagles en route. Arrive at the Tipi Camp, an exclusive, pristine riverside setting, for a delicious
breakfast. (Duration: 3-4hrs) This afternoon, take in the spectacular Teton scenery on a guided horseback ride at Spring Creek Ranch (Duration: 1 hr)

Day 7

Get out and active today with a half day guided mountain bike tour along the sagebrush flats on the eastern slopes of Grand Teton National Park. This easy half paved, half dirt ride makes sightseeing a
breeze. (Durations: 4 hrs, ride time 2 hrs). Tonight witness the beauty of the night sky with a stargazing program by astronomy educator, Samuel Singer, PhD. Enjoy a magical and informative night under the
stars. (Duration 3 hrs, starts ~10pm)

This itinerary is suggested for families who want to drive to Jackson Hole – flying into Jackson Hole also works well. The above itinerary is a sample and proposal only – all arrangements subject to availability.
Adjustments with alternative options can be made to your itinerary in order to create the perfect trip for each Quintess member and their family and friends. Accommodations can be arranged in a luxury home
rental for exclusivity. Groceries can be pre-stocked for your arrival. Private chef services, catering and on own meal arrangements can be made during your stay. Luxury hotels also work well for this itinerary, if

Winter Sleigh Ride

Travel by horse drawn sleigh through the forest and along the mighty Snake River.
Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife en route to the Tipi Camp, a private, pristine riverside setting. You will be welcomed with appetizers and hot drinks fireside followed by a fine dining experience in a heated tent adorned with antique lanterns. Retreat after dinner to a candlelit tipi to enjoy dessert and relax next to the wood burning stove. Wine, cocktails, or other beverages of your choice will be brought into the camp for the evening. This experience can also be tailored as a sleigh ride with lunch or a sleigh ride with appetizers only instead of the full dinner experience.

Art Gallery Dinner

Enjoy a private dinner in Ringholz Studios. Amy Ringholz is a renowned local artist known for portraying animal subjects with human like qualities in atypical and bold, saturated colors. You will be welcomed into her intimate and creative gallery, located in the heart of downtown Jackson, and treated to a delicious dinner prepared by one of Jackson’s top local chefs. For those interested, Amy can join your evening for an art talk, demonstration or even a hands on workshop. Truly a special night for art lovers, foodies, and anyone looking for a memorable and unique dining experience.

Farm to Table Dinners

Enjoy farm to table cuisine at a family ranch or in an historic, renovated barn located in Bridger Teton National Forest. Your personal chef will prepare seasonal fare using products from top local farmers and ranchers including Vertical Harvest, Cosmic Apple Farms, Lockhardt Ranch, and more. Enjoy modern cuisine or traditional western classics in a uniquely Jackson Hole location.

Stargazing

Spend the evening under the brilliant night sky of Jackson Hole with a local astronomy educator and PhD. Travel to an ideal location away from the lights of town where the high elevation and limited light pollution allows for an epic night under the stars. Your educator will set up a high powered telescope and spend the evening revealing the wonders of the starry night sky. Enjoy hot beverages and yummy treats while keeping warm on chilly nights under cozy blankets.

Foraging & Primitive Skills Workshop

Learn about the early settlement of the Jackson Hole valley with a local naturalist who will show you the ways in which the early trappers were able to live off the land.
Explore the edible plants with a foraging workshop and try your hand at fire building using primitive tools. Your local naturalist will share his passion for ethnobotany, the study of the traditional knowledge and customs of a people concerning plants and their medical, religious and other uses.

Wild Child Adventure

Head into the forest by horse drawn wagon for a morning of fun, exploration and creative learning. Activities have been developed by a local educator and are tailored to the ages of the group, from scavenger hunts to discovery walks and more. Afterwards, enjoy a delicious lunch in a beautiful outdoor setting. Relax in the hammocks, spend some time with the horses, or take a stroll along the river, looking for otters and eagles. Perfect for families with kids of all ages. Unique additions can be included such as a Raptor Encounter where you will get to meet and learn about the birds from the knowledgeable staff of the Teton Raptor Center.

Take to the Air

Enjoy the view from above on one of the exciting aerial options for exploring the valley and surrounds. Head up early in the morning by Hot Air Balloon and on your return a champagne breakfast in the field awaits. Take to the skies for a scenic, sunset flight to witness the alpenglow on the majestic Teton Range. Embark on a private charter flight over Yellowstone National Park to view the famed thermal features and search for wildlife from above. Or, for those looking for a bit more of a thrill, run off the side of the Teton Mountain Range to set sail on a tandem paragliding flight.

Essential Oils Workshop

Journey into the forest with a third generation local who has spent years studying the local flora and learning from the Native American community about the medicinal, healing and spiritual powers of plants. Responsibly gather plants that you will then learn how to distill into essential oils in a lovely historic barn which has been renovated into a workshop. While the distillation process takes place, you will be treated to a gourmet picnic lunch and spend the day enjoying stories and lore of the early days in Jackson Hole that have been passed down through the generations.

Snake River Float

Early morning journey by vintage wooden drift boat down one of the most scenic stretches of the Snake River. Your guide is an expert in the river ecosystem and will help you spot wildlife along the way, a prime habitat for bald eagles. Arrive at the end of the float at the Tipi camp, a pristine riverside setting where you will be welcomed and treated to a champagne breakfast. Kids and adults alike might enjoy a horse drawn wagon ride into the forest. Alternately, embark on the float late afternoon and arrive at the Tipi camp where appetizers and a delicious dinner en plein air awaits. Spend the evening in this magical setting alight with antique lanterns. S’mores and a night cap around the fire are the perfect end to a perfect night shared with family and friends.

Local Photographer Visit

Enjoy a visit to Dan Hartman’s home and gallery. A local film maker, photographer, and naturalist who has lived in the remote town of Cooke City since 1989, Dan and his wife raised two daughters in a small homesteader cabin. He will share stories and slides about his naturalist, photographer lifestyle. He recounts exciting memories of close calls with wildlife and speaks about the animals he has gotten to know over his years of filming and following them.

Yellowstone River Float

A float along the scenic Yellowstone River, north of Yellowstone National Park, is an incredible way to relax, take in beautiful scenery and learn about the history and geology of the area. Morning floats are arranged with a delicious continental breakfast spread served onboard as you journey down the river. During late afternoon floats, enjoy appetizers served on board along with your preferred beverages.

Helicopter Photo Flights

Take to the air to get a bird’s eye view of Yellowstone National Park. Witness the famed thermal features from this unique perspective off the road well-traveled. Look for mountain goats, elk, bison, deer, and occasionally you may even get a glimpse of bear , bighorn sheep, moose or wolves. Finally, land atop Emigrant Peak in Montana’s gorgeous Paradise Valley where you will enjoy a gourmet packed, picnic lunch with spectacular views of the surrounding area. Flights operate year round, weather permitting, with summertime air conditioning and arctic heaters for wintertime comfort. Other flights options are available, including flights originating out of Jackson Hole with routing throughout the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
