A local film maker, photographer, and naturalist who has lived in the remote town of Cooke City since 1989, Dan and his wife raised two daughters in a small homesteader cabin. He will share stories and slides about his naturalist, photographer lifestyle. He recounts exciting memories of close calls with wildlife and speaks about the animals he has gotten to know over his years of filming and following them.
A float along the scenic Yellowstone River, north of Yellowstone National Park, is an incredible way to relax, take in beautiful scenery and learn about the history and geology of the area. Morning floats are arranged with a delicious continental breakfast spread served onboard as you journey down the river.
